When Alberto and Jeff said their I do’s in Ft. Greene Park, Brooklyn, Good Morning America took notice, and featured their wedding photographs on the show, a same sex union highlighted on a national morning show! Talk about a family affair, these two so-in-love gents wore cufflinks with each other’s initials and had a touching open-air ceremony officiated by Alberto’s own father. Then everyone walked pied-piper style, led by an all-girl Mariachi band, to Ici Restaurant just down the hill, where their guests wined, dined and danced the night away.
If that wasn’t enough, these gracious grooms arranged for a midnight snack, a taco truck for their guests. The fun (and food!) never seemed to end on this early fall night. As guests left the event, ribbon bound copies of Walt Whitman books (the groom’s favorite author) awaited them on a table by the door as a parting favor.
These amazing guys deserve it; after a ten year deep-in-love romance, they finally married, and it’s legal. We wish them ten thousand blessings and a life as amazing and full of surprises as their wedding night. Congrats guys!
