5 Hairstyles to Slay on Your Wedding Day

Written and shot by NYC wedding photographer Angela Cappetta

I shoot a lot of beauty and fashion as part of my job. When I shoot weddings I am always  in admiration of the looks some couples envision. Some go sleek and mod, others loose and fun. Some even take it all off because, hey, bald is beautiful, too.

Which one is your favorite? Drop me a note and let me know!

So, enjoy this round up of looks I have compiled for you. And, remember to rock the look that is so utterly you.

To enumerate:

  1. Long and Loose Sometimes, the undone look is all you need.

2. Chic and low. Some brides opt for an updo with a sexy, low bun. This enhances the neckline of the dress.

3. A Groomed Groom: any groom is at his freshest with a sharp, new cut. Add some product and boom, you got a stud (or two) on your hands.

4. Bald is Beautiful: Some grooms want to shine. In more ways than one. These two polished their domes to let their love gleam.

5. Flower it out. This bride made her hairpiece out of silk flowers she picked up at a market in Paris. She steamed them and then created her look.
