Come Away With Me: A NYC Elopement Story

Come Away With Me. Few things are as romantic as a Central Park elopement. This one was no exception. We all met up at the swanky London Hotel, where I shot the getting ready process, followed by a sweet first look, then into the taxi we went to the great arches and fountain of Bethesda Terrace.With immediate family in tow and the bride's parents emotionally Skyped in from China, the ceremony began. There was a groovy officiant, an enthralled boy scout troop and street musicians who strummed in. The couple shared their rings, tears, joy and a hearty I do. After family snaps by the water, we went to Lower Manhattan to shoot by the 100 Gates Project, an edgy choice that worked well with all the polished pictures we made uptown. We even squeezed in an ice cream cone. I love this wedding. It reminds me of what's important. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed shooting it.
