The book's Kickstarter is on!

So wow what a week. I had to keep everything secret, until now that is. Kickstarter came over in the spring to do a studio visit and look at some work. The glorious Patton Hindle, Head of Arts, zeroed in on this one body of work in particular, and said with unwavering certainty "This. This is your first book." My brain was still processing as she spoke these words. "Angela, why wouldn't it be?" Patton's confidence was so unwavering that I said to myself "Well, I guess we're doing this." It was on. I assembled a team and got to launching. The marvelous Greg Harris of Suburban Realism directed the video, and Owen Muir, formerly an Engineering Master at Sony Music, mastered the audio.Glendalis the Book. I had no desire to ever crowd fund anything. But this opportunity, you don't give back. The response has been bananas. I'm a long way to go from reaching my goal of 30,200 USD. This will get the book all produced, distributed and delivered with a bow. But I have a loooooong way to go from now until then. It is running for 55 days. I'm already saying yes to interviews from big outlets about the project. So, we'll see what there is to see. But this project put me on the map, and now, I have the chance to make it into a book.
