Your New York Central Park Wedding Photo Survival Guide
Written and Shot by NYC Wedding Photographer Angela Cappetta.
Well, needless to say, I have my own special nooks and crannies I like around Central Park. These are shared only with my couples. However, I am more than happy to share with my readers some feedback on the best spots for micro wedding photography in Central Park. Moreover, I want you to know why I love these places. This is why I am sharing this with you today. To express my love of wedding photography in Central Park, New York City.
Bethesda Terrace
Bethesda Terrace wedding photography is our favorite. Furthermore, this is considered the heart of Central Park and is, by design, a formal feature. Overlooking the pond, Bethesda Terrace is nestled within the end of a promenade lined with mature trees. A beautiful brick and stone staircase descends into the ornately tiled Arcade.,
It is a spot which offers a welcome respite from rain and heat. Central to the arcade are ornate designs on themes of nature, art, science, and love. It is a luminous box of ornate and lush proportion. Off of all of this is a great fountain, wide enough for Park goers to sit beside, to get a mist of water to stay cool. This is the perfect stage to set the backdrop for your wedding or engagement sessions.

The Boathouse
The Loeb Boathouse is a restaurant which is located at the northeastern tip of the pond within Central Park. It is named after the now deceased philanthropist named Carl M. Loeb and his wife Adeline, who donated $305,000 to the venue. Since then, it has held up its tradition of excellence. Central Park Boathouse micro weddings are never a bad idea. In short, we propose you follow up an open air ceremony in the Park with a luncheon at the venerable Boat House, with delicious food and a pond side view, and you’ve won wedding planning forever. FYI, the Boathouse has a protocol with includes 1 hour for your setup, ceremony, and breakdown. Furthermore, you can rent a boat to row around the pond alongside the restaurant rests. The pond is Central Park's second largest body of water. Only the Reservoir itself is larger.

Any Random Tree
For those who are organic minded. We suggest you select a spot under a mature tree for your ceremony for your Central Park wedding. Then, follow it up with a fun picnic in the fields of Central Park immediately after. It’s that simple. Find a magical tree which speaks to you. Then claim it as your own for twenty minutes with your squad while you get married. Pick a few leaves and press them into your wedding album. Tie the knot, take your pictures, and stroll to your picnic spot. But don’t forget to look into whether or not you'll need a permit.
