My First Book

My first book.

I’m thrilled to announce that I am developing a book project with Thames & Hudson, Inc.

This photo book is a collection of my work from the project Glendalis, showcasing photography from the ten year period I worked on the project. It’s been an incredible journey to bring this project to life, and I’m so proud of the final product.

This book will be a great way for people to get to know me as an artist and explore my first long-term project. Furthermore, t will also be a great resource for students and aspiring photographers who are looking for inspiration and guidance on how to create beautiful photographs and embed yourself into a project. I’m confident that this art book will have something for everyone. The project itself is an exploration into my life as an artist, photographer, and storyteller. I am excited to share this journey with all of you . With the help of Thames and Hudson’s experienced team, I am confident that this will be one-of-a-kind experience for me. And t is so special to be able to experience this.

What is a monograph (my first book)?

So, what is monograph? Allow me to explain. Specifically, a monograph is that which focuses on the work of a single artist or photographer. It is usually published in hardcover format and contain an in-depth exploration of the artist’s work. Often, with additional commentary from curators and art critics. Monographs are often used to document a project within an artist’s career. They can also celebrate the highlights of a particular photographer. Publishing a monograph can be a great way for an artist to gain recognition and appreciation for their work.

In recent years, many photographers have also been publishing books devoted solely to their work. These reflect their academic careers of rigorous analysis of finely crafted imagery. Collections of photographs are published in order to present an individual artist’s work or research. Publishing a photo book is often referred to as creating a monograph.
