I’m used to hiding in the bushes to shoot Central Park proposals. I’ve been asked why I was hiding by strangers walking dogs. I’ve tucked myself under curtains in hotel suites. This was decidedly a step up. I had a spot in a nook. Lanterns were set out. They twinkled like stars. We were ready.
