I keep the discussion on my shoots to general subjects, and questions for my subjects which are relevant to their life. I think basic human decency overrides anything a pundit or politician could every say. But I do love photographing politicians.

City Hall Couple Elopes From London

Dave and Lucy met because they both play in the same classical orchestra in London. The sparks flew like notes from a score, and well, here we are. A loving and romantic winter elopement of two beautiful people on a very special day. When I asked her why New York, Lucy just quietly, and matter of factly responded "I just love it."

I had no idea when I went to my dear friends Chris and Paige's house to meet baby Rowan and shoot their tree that it would be Zuko's last photoshoot. He was listless and not his usual self, but little did I know that the pictures I'd take that day would be the last photoshoot Zuko would have as the family dog.

NY Athletic Club Wedding

A New York Athletic Club wedding is so cool. Since Courtney's family are lifelong members of the NY Athletic Club, it was the natural place for she and Steve to tie the knot. Both of these film professionals met at work (set up by Steve's boss) and it was a bold statement for them not to have a cinematographer covering the event, so it made the photography all that more important.

How to Photograph a Baby Right

If I could shoot a fresh, new, baby every day I would. And always on a very fuzzy sheepskin. I love babies, but I admittedly don't know much about them beyond the basics. What I do know, though, is when you plop one down on a soft fuzzy, they immediately relax.
